SOLTRON

Diesel is an organic fuel and therefore a food to microscopic fungi, yeast and bacteria. There is water for germination, carbon for food, oxygen and sulphur for respiration and trace elements for growth. The microbes are all independent, separate living cells that grow in colonies. These can develop into mats easily seen in the fuel with the naked eye. The growth and activity of the organisms can be very rapid. In other situations the organisms develop very slowly at a rate difficult to detect with out laboratory testing. They can then lie dormant in the tank until the moisture content and temperature cause the promotion of growth. Four well known symptoms characterise the presence of micro-organisms.

Odour usually like rotten eggs (due to the hydrogen sulphides)

Appearance is murky, slime or matted "Gunk"

Colour of the fuel is dark, often khaki

Corrosion occurs due to the acids produced.

What is Soltron ?
Soltron is a proven fuel catalyst. It contains naturally occurring enzymes, which modify the molecular structure of fuels. Soltrons enzymes prevent the growth of micro-organisms including bacteria, fungi and yeast.

Soltron is a mixture of enzymes extracted from green plants that have specific fuel conditioning functions. They cannot cause wear or attack seals and metal surfaces in the fuel system, engines and combustion equipment. Indeed the reverse is true - the Soltron enzymes eliminate or reduce the various chemical compounds and microbes which cause problems.

What Soltron will not do
It will not rectify mechanical faults.

Soltron cleans your fuel
The hydrocarbon elements found in diesel sludge are converted back into the fuel and burnt during combustion. The increase in combustion efficiency results in emission reduction. A clean transom and reduced odour.

Soltron eliminates the "Diesel bugs"
Continued use of Soltron will ensure that you are protected against contamination from microbial and bacterial growth "bugs" These bugs reproduce in the fuel tank contaminating the fuel which in turn can block your filters and lines.

These organisms can in time attain an immunity to biocide treatments, however , Soltron’s enzymes breaks up the "bugs" so that they pass through the fuel filters and are removed during combustion.

Soltron can be used in Petrol and Diesel engines.

Mr Funnel

If you have a diesel driven generator, you need the utmost in reliability. Around 80% of diesel engine failures are fuel related, so fitting a high performance diesel fuel filter water separator is a critical decision. Alarmingly, most diesel engines are not fitted as standard with primary diesel fuel filters - a situation that will eventually lead to reduced efficiency or even engine failure. Modern electronic engines fuel injection systems are much more sensitive to the ingress of dirt or water. In simple terms there is no substitute for the size and quality of the filter element. Mr Funnel are the best available.

Applications
For filtering fuels such as petrol & Diesel. Widely used as a means to pre-filter fuel.

What is it?
The Mr Funnel filter is a new heavy duty, fast flow, filter-in-a-funnel that separates damaging free water & contaminates from gasoline, diesel, heating oil, & kerosene.

The new family of funnels are capable of removing free water and solids down to .005 inch and allows you to visually inspect the integrity of your fuel supply as you refuel.

You can combat these problems by refuelling with the Filter Funnel every time you transfer fuel from one container to another.

Why use it?
Dirt and water are practically un-avoidable in stored fuel, causing microbial growth, corrosive acids, electrolysis and rust. These contaminates can plug filters, corrode components, decrease efficiency and cause engine shut down or system failure.

Mr Funnel filters are manufactured using industrial grade black electron-conductive polypropylene. Carbon powder is injected into the plastic so the funnels will conduct static electricity, allowing the funnel to be grounded. This is an important safety feature of the Funnel. Four sizes are available.
